MicroSave India is funded by a variety of local and international donors, and seeks to create a practice-based centre of excellence designed to research, test and rollout market-led, innovative products/delivery systems and to develop capacity within Indian financial institutions serving the low-income sector.
The recognition of the quality of MicroSave's services (technical assistance, training and research) means that they are in are in high demand and the project is still growing very rapidly. As a result there are many vacancies for ambitious, committed professionals keen to learn and grow with the programme and to be a part of efforts to play an important role in transforming Indian microfinance.
MicroSave is looking for a long-term consultant to assist with its on-going Market-led Financial Services programme (largely focused on research to support product development and expand financial inclusion/ savings mobilisation, particularly around e-/m-banking solutions) and develop staff into leadership positions. The posting would be for two years, with the potential for extension of two more years.
